The unconferences I've run already lean on AI for one thing — Meal Matchmaking predicts who you'd want to meet and seats you with them. That's matchmaking off a one-time survey, run *between* meals. The vision here is to make the whole weekend **listen to itself**.
Everyone wears a **conversation pendant** (an Omi, a Friend, whatever) as part of their cost of admission, and registers with it at check-in so it knows every voice in the room. From there it does four things at once:
- **Builds a live wiki of the weekend.** Every conversation reconciles into one map of **claims, arguments, and evidence**, with deep research running in the background to check whether the evidence actually backs what people are saying — and to tell them, gently, when it doesn't.
- **Matches people in real time.** Not "here's your lunch table" but "this group of six has been circling the same idea all afternoon — go meet, it's a five-minute walk from each of you, and you're all in a lull right now." You could put 200 or 1,000 people in a venue like Lighthaven with **no schedule at all** and let the structure emerge. The matchmaking that made HammingBio and Califlorence Aligned AGI work runs continuously instead of three times a day.
- **Surfaces what each person needs.** It learns who's looking for a cofounder, who has the missing piece of expertise, who'd want to collaborate — and makes the introduction instead of leaving it to chance and name tags.
- **Doubles as deal flow.** If there's a fund attached, the wiki *is* the diligence trail. You overhear a good idea, text an outside expert who isn't even at the event — "does this actually make sense?" — and if it checks out, offer the table funding the same weekend. The investor's edge is structural: they're the one who can see the whole map of who said what.
Getting a bunch of smart, between-things people into a room and helping them find each other is a scenius machine and a sourcing machine at the same time.[^1]
The first step is this wiki! And the second step is wiring it up to my own conversations and Omi directly.

[^1]: From a conversation with Samvit Ramadurgam, June 2026: "you could put like 200 people or 1000 people into the same into Light Haven, and you just let them all talk and chat, and then it starts organically, like matching people up… that group of six, you guys are all like circling around the same idea, go hang out." And on the fund tie-in: "the AI is in charge of like collecting all the DD, so it knows who the experts are in your broader network… And then you know to offer them an investment, same weekend."
