- Hot tub, cold plunge, outdoor shower
- Coworking
- Bandstand + live band karaoke (I'm drummer)
- Baby Happy Hour, kids are friends w each other
- Being Aunties and Uncles to our friends' kids
- When it takes forty minutes to get a toddler ready, turn them loose into a backyard where their friends are already playing = freeing
- Tbh a lot like this but with kids
- Sunday community days
## How I'll assemble the group
- Bimonthly dinner series - I'm actually meeting up with a couple friends next Sunday to plan this
- Build up to group trip or retreat: 1-2 weekend trips, then a 1-4 week trip: **Abundance House**, **Adam's summer camp**, book a private **Sleepawake**, international trip, etc
- I'm GP and instigator, find property, raise 35% down payments from core group for common housing construction loans (1/3rd of total size - 3-6 people), recruit the rest after
I just want 1-2 True Friends, or potential true friends, to participate in the project with me. See [[I aspire to true friendship in a life partner]]
> In a perfect Friendship this Appreciative Love is, I think, often so great and so firmly based that each member of the circle feels, in his secret heart, humbled before all the rest. Sometimes he wonders what he is doing there among his betters. He is lucky beyond dessert to be in such company. Especially when the whole group is together, each bringing out all that is best, wisest, or funniest in all the others. Those are the golden sessions; when four or five of us after a hard day's walking have come to our inn; when our slippers are on, our feet spread out towards the blaze, and our drinks at our elbows; when the whole world, and something beyond the world, opens itself to our minds as we talk; and no one has any claim on or any responsibility for another, but all are freemen and equals as if we had first met an hour ago, while at the same time an Affection mellowed by the years enfolds us. Life—natural life—has no better gift to give. Who could have deserved it?
